Booking Your Day

A deposit of £100 is required to book your day at the studio. This will secure your date. Your workshop date can be held provisionally for one week before the deposit is required.

How To Pay

You can pay the deposit by bank transfer or cash.

The remaining £295 (after your £100 deposit) for the day itself can be paid for on the day by either cash or bank transfer or any time by transfer, leading up to your workshop day.

Once you have decided on the rings you’d like to make, Make Wedding Rings will provide you with a price for your gold. Payment must then be made to Donna Barry by bank transfer and your gold will then be ordered ready for your day.

Any extras (eg. hallmarking ) must be paid for prior to you receiving your rings. This can be paid for by cash (if collecting from the studio) or by bank transfer if you are receiving your rings in the post. Make Wedding Rings will only dispatch your rings, once full payment has been made.

Promotional Materials & Social Media

Make Wedding Rings will take photos of you and your rings during your workshop experience for you to keep. Make Wedding Rings may use these photos in social media and/or for promotional material (e.g website). You will be provided with a form on the day to sign for your consent. You have the right to refuse if you would prefer it if we didn't use or share any photos.

Any images can be removed at any time upon your request.

Cancellations

Your deposit is non refundable if you cancel or postpone within eight weeks of your workshop. Make Wedding Rings will try to replace your workshop date with someone else. In the event that Make Wedding Rings are unable to replace you, Make Wedding Rings will be unable to refund you (except in any events relating to COVID-19). If you cancel the workshop after the gold has been ordered, payment for the gold will still be required. The gold is non returnable to the bullion company as each piece is made to order and cut to the right length for you. If the order has not yet been processed, then no payment is required. Full payment of £255 (the remaining balance for the day, after the deposit) and the cost of your gold (if it has been ordered) is required if you cancel your workshop within a month of your workshop. (See COVID-19 for exceptions).

If in the unlikely event your workshop is cancelled by Make Wedding Rings due to rare unforeseen circumstances, a stand in tutor may be available. Failing that, Make Wedding Rings will endeavour to rearrange an alternative date for you. If this doesn't work out, a full refund will be given with the exception of the gold if it has already been ordered. Make Wedding Rings will not be liable for any other costs (e.g hotel, travel).
